These various ministries are two-fold in intent. First we hope you can be blessed by receiving from these ministries and second we hope you can find opportunities to serve yourself by using your gifts and talents as our LORD leads you. Men's Prayer Ministry:
Mens' prayer meeting: Every Monday night the mens' prayer meeting will be starting at 6:00pm and ending at around 8;00pm. Men are welcome to come and pray in the upstairs room. The focus will be on our suffering brothers and sisters in Christ, that are in chains, also on this hurting and dying world. Bring prayer requests and broken hearts to call out to our great GOD, and PRAY!!!

Video Ministry:
The Video Ministry broadcasts all Sunday and Wednesday throughout the church on the closed circuit TV system. It also records the services for production onto DVD media. The DVD s, complete with pastor embedded scripture verses and notes, are made available weekly in the Calvary bookstore. Service in this ministry involves running camera and computer equipment during the Sunday and Wednesday services. It also involves editing and producing the video for DVD. Video skills are not required to serve in the ministry. We have a complete training program that will teach a servant how to use the equipment, edit the videos, and burn the DVDs. If you would like to serve, please fill out a talent sheet in the atrium.

Web Ministry:
The web ministry maintains the church web site, including design, weekly updates of the calendar ('this week at calvary'), new projects (conferences, movie screenings, scripting to allow payments and donations online), and multimedia operations that make the site as informative as possible (and user-friendly) for visitors to ccplano.com. Currently, the web site is maintained using Macromedia Dreamweaver software. This ministry's work is usually done from home using Dreamweaver, an ftp program, and graphics software such as Fireworks, and Photodraw 2000. Occasionally some flash is added using Macromedia Flash or Swish. Also, some audio software such as Adobe Audition, Sound Forge, Cool Edit Pro, and voice recorder software are used to record, edit, convert (to mp3) teachings and other sound files for use on the web site. The web ministry has also recently offered podcasts of the various church ministries.
Service in the web ministry involves editing the existing web page(s), editing graphics and sound files, designing new pages, troubleshooting problems that may arise with the site, server, and the hosting company, editing text for grammar and spelling, designing the 'new and improved' web site, and also answering any emails directed to the web servant.
Proficiency with Dreamweaver or a comparable web design software is desired. Also, experience with Flash, podcasting (text or software) and audio software is a plus. Web ministry servants should be able to respond to requests within a couple of days or sooner, depending on the urgency of the request. 'Fast-learners' who have the appropriate software are certainly welcome to serve. If you would like to serve, please fill out a talent sheet in the atrium.

Home Fellowships:
Home fellowships are small groups of believers that meet weekly or bi-monthly in homes across the metroplex.  Home fellowships have three main goals:
To Provide a place to study God’s Word with fellow believers while discussing its meaning and application to our lives.
To provide an environment where we can grow spiritually and encourage one another in obedience and servant hood.
To enjoy fellowship together through praise, worship, and breaking of bread.

YOUTH MINISTRY:
This ministry seeks to build Godly young adults that are equipped to face the challenges of this world by the power of the Word of God. Throughout the year we will have events that build closer relationships within our youth group as well as reaching out to our communities with concerts and other outreaches. We feel that by getting the Word of God, growing in the Word of God, and going and making disciples that this youth group will be prepared to lead the church of their generation.
